The first Friday of the BBQ cook-off sometime in late Feb. is a Houston holiday called "Go Texan Day!". Most companies and schools have some kind of custom party where people come dressed in their best western get ups! The BBQ cook-off kicks open the Houston Live Stock Show & Rodeo. Our little cowgirl E was excited to show off her cowgirl wear!
